On a little foodie vacation with my wife for our anniversary. The dairy farms around Vermont are special, so I wanted to have a really nice ice cream. I spotted this place with two five-star reviews and it was open. Not too far, and very interesting in it's offerings. I decided to go out of my way to check it out. I approached the counter just as they were handing out a few free samples of their latest bars. I tried one of the black ones and felt as if I was being blown violently backwards. As if I had to grip onto the marble countertop to keep from being torn away from it altogether. Yes, it really was that good. Stunned, all I could manage was a shocked "woah." Then I tried the other bar, creamier and also extremely good. I bought the banana split, my wife had the astral plane Sundae.
WOW, why did I wait so long to stop in here!? If you want totally unique, superb homemade treats, you have to come here! So many cool treats and seems like the menu changes too. The maple/black sesame twist creemee was to die for. I ate it before I could take a picture to share - it was as beautiful looking as it was delicious! I love me a hot chai and they make a mean masala chai. There are gluten free options, including a black sesame cake, which always warms my heart as I have to eat strictly GF. Of course you have to try the Halvah and if you do I recommend the black sesame halvah! Wicked good stuff!
Hands down the best creeme I've had in my whole life! I ordered the Astral Plane sundae, and wow, the different flavors colliding was the best thing I've ever tasted. The toasted marshmallow on top added an extra layer of depth that I didn't expect. 10/10 place, will be back!!!
My wife and I absolutely love the Holy Halvah bars (and they also have the best creemees around!) Both bars are amazing in their own right, but the NoirBars are where we tend to gravitate. The rich nutty flavor and high quality ingredients immediately made us huge fans.
We first discovered Holy Halvah when a friend shared their halvah with us. I’ve tried quite a bit of halvah over the years, and theirs is easily the best. Their creemees are just as impressive — rich and creamy, topped with halvah and maple-banana. I can’t wait to go back.
