Varns Guest House

The minute we stepped into this B&B, we felt like part of the family - in a good way. The hosts are very inviting and made us feel right at home. This property is on the main drag in Middlebury, so there is lots of traffic including semi trucks. We sat on the front porch in the evening and watched the world drive by. Our room was in the back of the house and there was noise of a fan all night, so the road noise was not a problem.||Our room was rather small and most of it was taken up by a beautiful hand made bed. If you wanted to watch TV, it was on the corner of the wall by the headboard, so you could either lay on the bed with your head at the foot, or sit on a loveseat at the end of the bed. Very reasonable, nice breakfast, innkeepers very nice and personable, walking distance to restaurant, microbrew, boutique and retro hardware store.

we felt like home as soon as we met Jane and Lenny. The room was clean and quiet. During the night we heard some noise due to the air conditioning, however we slept all the night. Bathroom were clean and towels have been changed daily, perfect. Wifi was missing, not big issue for us.

This place we have come every year since 1970s or 80s very nice must be there to appreciate live seeing the Amish people beds and nice and brefecst is the best tv was nice to watch and WiFi worked great See you soon
