Valley Rock Lodge Steakhouse

I love this restaurant. It is the best in the area. You can enjoy a warm and quiet environment and really enjoy the variety of flavors of the excellent dishes of Chef Matt, who was the best by far. Very pleased to go to our table and talked to us to make sure everything was perfect. Definitely my favorite place right now.

This place is so magical, everybody here makes you feel special and Chef Matt is simply the best. Everything that comes out of his kitchen is perfection. 100% recommended.

I don’t even know where to begin! This place is a dream from beginning to end. I felt like I was on vacation from the moment I walked in the door! The ambiance is special and gorgeous. Lighting is on point. Went to the bar for a cocktail and was served by the lovely Anastasia. She is a true artisan and on a busy Saturday night, took the time to craft these wonderful cocktails. On to dinner, we were sat in this beautiful dining room, cozy and warm, truly spectacular. Our server Melanie was truly probably the best I have ever had and that is a high complement being that I have worked in and managed restaurants for over thirty years. This place is truly perfection! It has been some time since we have experience a dinner that was this amazing in all 3 categories. We dined at the lodge for the first time about 3 weeks ago and it was SO fantastic- that we wound up going again a week later. The food is outstanding! The short ribs are savory and cooked to perfection. My husband is quite picky about steak- they knocked it out of the park! The atmosphere and scenery is breathtaking and when you thought it couldn’t get any better…the service is beyond impeccable. A lovely and attentive staff from the valet, to the hostesses to the wait staff and bartenders. Can’t wait to go back. OH- I almost forgot… the apple tart dessert is heaven.

For me, dining out is about the food, the vibe and the people. Valley Rock continues to excel at all three! The mood was set immediately by the gorgeous grounds and the incredible positivity of the valet. We then were met with the warm and inviting hostesses that got us ready for our amazing dining experience. Once seated, the service was the perfect combination of attention, knowledge and friendliness. Each course was a knockout punch. Oysters, Prime Rib, Filet, Lava Cake, Crème Brûlée . All prepared and presented flawlessly. This place is the total package!
