Cooper's Tavern

Locals, like me, have been anxiously waiting for Coopers to open up and it did not disappoint. They tastefully took our old hang out joint and turned it into an updated masterpiece. We were a party of 13, and they were able to accommodate every need we had. We were WOWed by their amazing cocktails, and loved every bite of their food. We had almost everything, soups, salads, sandwiches, and entrees, with not one bad review from our party of 13. Service was extraordinary, drinks and food came as it should, in a timely manner. Can’t wait to hang out outside in the warmer months as they expanded and upgraded most of the outside area. Complimentary valet parking was quick and needed as the weekends are busy. My only question is will they bring back music?

Cooper’s Tavern—All Dressed Up With Nowhere to Go Cooper’s Tavern occupies a massive 6,000-square-foot space near Harriman State Park, and from the moment you walk in, it’s clear someone spent serious money on the place. The atmosphere is polished, the space is impressive, and if you look hard enough, you might mistake it for the kind of Irish gastropub that actually delivers on the “gastro” part. We started with the crispy Brussels sprouts, which were legitimately fantastic—easily the high point of the meal. Then things took a turn. I ordered the CT Smash Burger with bacon, which was…fine. Was iffy with the other reviews but went to see for myself . Staff was extremely attentive and nice . The food was really good ! Not the best French onion I've ever tasted but I'm spoiled by going out to eat consistently. Ordered the smash burger and fries 10/10 the taste was fantastic. Also had the French dip sliders and the spinach / artichoke dip which were both perfectly executed. Absolutely recommend.

Tonight was a soft opening. Smash burger & sweet potato fries were delicious. Buffalo wings were also very good. Tried the Old Fashioned & it was a bit too sweet for my liking. Overall, pretty good date night & I will be coming back.

Such a good time! The food was delicious, service was amazing, loved the lighting and the atmosphere! Drinks were so good, and all of the food was delicious too— whether you get ramen, a burger, or just fries, it was all so good! Our server was soo nice, we all loved him! I didn’t catch his name but he did a great job and was very kind. All of the staff was so kind and came to check on us a lot. Valet on one side and normal parking on the other, the valets were super nice as well. I could go on and on about this place.. I highly recommend! Please go try it and support this new lovely place! Lowkey kind of expensive for my liking but a few cheaper options and also so worth it.
