UpRooted Restaurant and Bar

I had a wonderful meal at UpRooted with my mom following our trip to the Volo Museum. The food was stunning—vibrant, beautifully plated, and incredibly delicious! I especially appreciated the menu's clarity; it’s easy to identify vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options, with helpful tips on how to customize dishes (like omitting dressing to make a plate vegan). Our server was exceptionally knowledgeable about the chefs' techniques, even giving me some inspiration for my own kitchen. We left completely satisfied and are already looking forward to our next visit!

Service was overall enjoyable and the entrées were prepared well. Doesn’t understand what it wants to be. For our appetizer we had the charcuterie board. The staff seemed well trained and knowledgeable on everything that was on the plate. Biggest complaint I have is the meat/cheese to cracker ratio was completely out of wack. In both the sizes and the amount. Either get bigger crackers or slice your cheese and meat smaller. Unfortunately I’d wager that the reason for this is the ingredients are not being sliced on location. They are probably pre sliced cheeses and meats taken out of a refrigerated pack and presented on a piece of wood to give the illusion of fine dining. The food was fantastic with generous portions that offer great value. We sampled the Lamb Shank and Chicken Marsala, and every dish was full of flavor. Though the setting feels slightly dated, the exceptional quality of the food makes this a clear five star experience.

Tasty food. The staff was friendly. Cool salad cart. Liked the after dinner drink selection.

I had lunch with my boyfriend here and everything was great (I got the shrimp tacos and they were incredible)! It was completely dead when we showed up, but our server Amia made it feel lively by lighting candles and visiting us often. When we were done eating, she even stopped by with some dessert shooters for us to choose from, which were CRAZY good
