River East Public Library

We found this library through the exhibitions program where we visit different libraries to get little tags. When we first saw it, it looked very small but Homie with all of the different toys available for the kids to play I would say this library is definitely more targeted for age group 3 - 11 Years old. A really fun concept that this library has that makes it very different from anyone else that I’ve been to is they allow you to go to the basement and have a free range hangout area. This concept is great, especially in times of rain, bad weather snow where the kids need to have the opportunity to run around and perhaps mingle with other kids with providing all different toys, puzzles, and even a couple of games on the side. Wonderful little library! They have a good selection of books and random things to check out. On the basement level they have a bunch of board games, action games like skee ball and basketball shooting, and Lego sets. It was a great place to take my kids. The staff was very friendly and helpful as well!

The staff there is very helpful and very accommodating!!!
