Uncommon Grounds Coffeehouse

Loved our visit here. Owners were delightful and helpful. The breakfast bagel sandwiches were wonderful. Loved the cute plates and fun atmosphere. Thank you from your Utah friends!

Close to half of the staff that works here is nice and efficient. The prices are reasonable (for a coffee shop) and the selection is usually good. I'm a very regular customer and most of the staff, with only a few exceptions, knows me by name. Unfortunately due to a recent turnover, most of the genuinely friendlier members of the staff have left. At times it's hard to get past the feeling that the ones taking your hard-earned money even care if they witnessed you turn into vapor (not helpful when you actually hear one of them say that they don't care about people). If they hire a few people with bigger hearts, it will possibly improve, which would be nice again. One barista just has been cold to me from her first day and I just don't understand why. I have trouble walking longer distances

I enjoyed my food and my coffee. Great service as well. I look forward to going there again when I go to Powell in the future

Cinnamon rolls here are excellent! I stopped in to get a cup of drip coffee, which they were out of, and ended up buying a CR. Very good. I’ll be going back for another in the future

Been getting drinks and occasionally food at uncommon for years. Their coffee is SUPERB. I know inflation is very real, and with the new owners my favorite drink went from $3.64 to $5.95. Not quite 100% price increase. I’ll continue to go there on special occasions, but will go elsewhere for my frequent coffee stops.
