Uncle Bill's Pancake House

We traveled around the world and across the country to finally visit Uncle Bill’s Pancakes and the Jersey Shore. Terrific food and service! Delicious ripe banana pecan pancakes, crispy bacon, hashbrowns, and an egg cooked just right. We asked for over-medium and they nailed it! We say Awesome, you say Legit. We say Beach, you say Shore. We say Hashbrowns, you say Home fries. Had a great experience and will return! Find the Pray for Pancakes sign for bonus points! 🥞

This is last summer, the room we sat almost empty when we got there , but no service people come to take order or do something. Later the room is full, the waitresses served other tables including the table next to us who came much later than us. The table next to us almost done their breakfast, waitress just started taking our order. That day we are the only table not white. We don’t like to play race cards, but this place is the first place makes us feel very bad.

We visited here for a late breakfast on vacation. The restaurant was bustling but our party of five was seated right away, and our server stopped by the table to get our drink order quickly. We barely had any wait at all to get our food, which was so delicious. I got the "special plate" and it was so filling and the pancakes were top notch. Our server continued to deliver fantastic service throughout the meal, and the kids were super excited to reach pick out a lollipop at the end of the meal. We also saw them accommodating large groups by removing a divider between booths, which was really clever. We'd definitely return here again!

Fast service. No wait for us at 9 am Saturday. I had the eggs Benedict. One of the poached eggs was hard, but it didn’t really matter because everything tasted really good. The home fries were great. My husband also enjoyed his waffle. Tasted like an apple pie.

We had heard great reviews from several friends about Uncle Bill's, so we had to try it out today while visiting Avalon. Sadly we were disappointed. We got takeout because their website said they were only open for outside seating (and it was 38 degrees today), but when my husband picked up the food there were people sitting inside. If we had known that we would have gone in-person. Anyway, there were four of us eating - my husband and I, and our 3 and 5 year olds. They had no kids menu, so we ordered strawberry pancakes, french toast, stuffed french toast, and bacon/sausage sides. The french toast was super sad looking.
