Capt'n Chucky's Crab Cake Co. Avalon

Wow.. really good crab cakes and cocktail shrimp. Easily the best cocktail shrimp I have ever had, which is weird. You would think they all taste the same, but these really stood out. They were succulent and sweet. We got the Smith Island crab cakes. Everyone loved everything. The coleslaw was really good, too. Don’t forget to get some tartar sauce for the crab cakes.

Ordered for the first time last week and was very impressed overall. Brittany was super friendly and helpful on the phone while I was ordering. We picked up the order on Saturday and the staff was extremely friendly and inviting as well, making it a great experience. The crab critter balls were a hit at our party and the shrimp cocktail was delicious! Will definitely be back again soon.

Wow. Let's start with the in house staff... amazing. So friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond to welcome customers. Even giving out samples of their delicious food. The food was soooooo good. We had the basic crab cake.... it was just crab meat. Seasoned well, it was perfect and a great price. Don't be put off with having to bake the crab cakes, it was a was simple and the directions they give are perfect. We also tried the coleslaw and broccoli salad. Both tasty. But the best thing we had was the shrimp. Melt in your mouth meaty shrimp. I wish I would have gotten the bigger serving. This place is definitely on our must visit list.

Really delicious shrimp salad, not full of mayo & fillers. Love the 7 mile crab cakes. Clean & great staff. Joanne was really friendly and gave me good suggestions.

Love the Captain Chucky’s Crab Cakes and the service by Courtney was above and beyond. She was so cheerful and helpful with choosing the right type of appetizers too! The choices of prepared dishes were perfect for our family house dinner!
