Umi Fine Japanese & Asian Cuisine

Ordered take out while on a mini stay-cation. The menu has a variety of dishes to choose from, which is great especially if you do not eat meat like myself. There are plenty veggie and seafood options. I ended up ordering Peppery Crispy Shrimp, Yaki Udon (which is stir fry udon noodles with veggies) and Tempura (a mix of assorted veggies and shrimp lightly battered and fried). Everything was flavorful, hot, and fresh. You also get quite a bit of food. It was enough to share with another person. I will have to visit again next time I am in the area!

Came to Umi Japanese food on a visit while out of town for work. I ordered the rice cakes seafood platter and it was very interesting to eat I suggest you try it more as an appetizer. Good food friendly service definitely worth a try thank you for a pleasant evening.

Very fresh and delicious sushi! Highly recommend trying the Jalapopper — it’s amazing and full of flavor.The owner is incredibly kind and truly cares about making every customer happy. Definitely a place I’ll come back to! When you order the poppers ask for the square cut topping ..not mashed.

This is a busy great place for Japanese food. Set in a strip mall, right off the highway,near several hotels. The staff and owners are super nice, friendly and accommodating. The menu is large but not overwhelming. There were 3 chefs behind the sushi bar -each making eye-appealing creations. We went for lunch, as we perused the menu and the blackboard full of specials we were served water and ordered a Scorpion bowl and the best lychee martini. I ordered the appetizer of Uni topped with quail eggs that was just received from Japan and the tuna tartare for my meal. My husband ordered the volcano roll. Oh-so good! The Uni was so fresh and sweet. My tuna tartare was big enough for 2-3 servings. The tuna was fresh with creamy avocados over seaweed salad. Topped with tobiko/ikura and crunchy

Umi Fine has a large menu of traditional Japanese, Korean and many Sushi and Sashimi options. They feature Waygo beef and Toro tuna both as stand alone mains and in several rolls. The restaurant is in a strip mall alongside 128 and easy to get to if you trust the GPS.
