Trencito Taqueria & Deli

The carne asada quesadilla was one of the best I ever had! It was excellent and came with good sides. I ordered online and my food was ready by the time I got there. I like the choice of using a wheat tortilla for the quesadillas. I would definitely come back. I give it only four stars because of the parking.

A real authentic Mexican spot. Looks like mostly takeout… the building is small. I’m ever in search of a great breakfast burrito. I found it here. Very fresh and super stuffed. You can always tell a good one because it’s heavy when you pick it up. I ordered mine with sausage, but it came with bacon also. Included scrambled eggs, peppers and onions lots of cheese and broccoli. That’s a little different but it made it heartier and I felt like I was being a little healthy too. 🙂 I highly recommend this place. Be warmed however the parking can be tough! A tight area right on the commuter rail line at the intersection of Moody street in Waltham.

Best tacos in Waltham!!! Finally a place that makes beef tongue tacos right. So tender and flavorful. Those were my favorite, but everything else we tried was delicious as well. The food tastes like street tacos from Cali; seriously felt like we were back on vacation. So happy we found this gem right at home; highly recommend. It’s time for “Taqueria El Amigo” to step aside. That place has always been overrated. Come here instead and you will see.

Delicious food, served quickly, with smiles, and a clean place. It’s now one of my favorite Waltham takeout places for Mexican food. There’s 2 or 3 FREE parking spots adjacent to the building that the staff said is for customers of Trencito, or you can do paid parking in the commuter rail parking lot nearby.

I love the food — it’s honestly one of the best Mexican places in the area. That said, please work on getting the orders right. I’ve noticed many other comments mentioning incorrect orders, and unfortunately I’ve experienced the same thing. I’ve ordered multiple times, and almost every time something was wrong. The last two orders especially: one time I received two quesadillas even though I ordered one, and another time I received a chicken quesadilla instead of a regular cheese quesadilla. I was charged for everything, but there’s very little clarity about what you’re actually being charged for. The food is great, but order accuracy really needs improvement. Please work on correcting these mistakes.
