Waltham Public Library

One of the best children’s rooms that we’ve ever visited in Massachusetts! Staff are all super friendly and very nice with kids. My 2 year old and I had a wonderful experience there. 10/10 would recommend to family with young kids!

Waltham Public Library is a classic New England library. The selection of books is great, the architecture is beautiful, there’s lot of little nooks and desks to study at. It’s busy but nearly silent inside. The staff is helpful and polite. There’s a few floors. The book selection was fantastic.

The staff at this library is very rude! The Director of the library at a corner office on the second floor once yelled at me and threatened to kick me out of the library when I just cleared my throat at my desk near her office. Then I heard her chatting and laughing on the phone which made lots of noise. It was double standard! The staff and management should have gone through better training for customer service. Terrible experience at this library!

Book selection is limited. A bit of a waste of the beautiful building. Stuff is not as welcoming as other public libraries.

It was cool, there we can use the computer, no specific limit to the hours, but if there's lots of people waiting to use it as well, you need to hop on and off within an hour or two, but overall you can't go wrong with first page free printing and the second page is 10¢ and so forth.
