Found this place on Christmas Eve while out finishing up shopping for the fun stuff. I was shocked at the quality of this food! I don’t usually order sushi unless I’m at a more formal restaurant known for it but was truly blown away with how they’re making your rolls fresh to order with quality ingredients. My Gyoza and Dynamite Roll were fantastic. Thrilled to have stumbled upon U2 Japan and now stop in often.
I've been to Japan and eaten a lot of sushi. Poke bowl was smaller than expected but it was quality enough that it filled didn't matter the portion size. 94% of perfect sushi just great for Albany NY. Plastic utensils and equivalent chopsticks bring your own.
The ramen was ok. The pork was really good, and there were generous quantities of ingredients, but the broth was not particularly flavorful and the noodles were a little disappointing. The boiled egg was a little hard as well. It was ok, not impressive. The dragon roll was good, lots of avocado. Eating in here is not the right move. The atmosphere is lackluster and the vibe is very stark
I literally stumbled upon this place while waiting for the bestie to get off work. The sign outside said they were having a grand opening since love to check out new places to eat in the capital region I decided to head on over… The restaurant is clean. It’s very cold inside though. Because it was raining out I had zero intentions on sitting down to eat. The food took about 10-15 mins to prepare. The staff was polite and helpful. The food was surprisingly very good. I didn’t care for the rice much. It was bland. I ordered a combo meal. It included two choices of meat but I opted to add scallops for $2 extra. I was very elated with my decision. I woke up the next day craving this all over again. I’m not even a hibachi person. The combo meal also included two sides: rice and lo mein no
Thoroughly enjoyed the food, everything was fresh and made to order. The service staff was friendly and pleasant. I ordered three different sushi rolls and a platter of raw sushi, ten out of ten would return here for the same foods. Huge parking lot, and other shops surrounding.
