TL;DR: The pastries are delicious, but expensive, and the service experience leaves a lot to be desired. Picked up a few boxes of pastries for a celebration and was surprised when I arrived at opening and no pastries were set out. I was informed they were 'still baking' at 7:00am and that items would be ready closer to 7:20-30a. I questioned why would they open without product, but waited anyways. In line ahead of me was someone from a local medical center who ended up picking up a huge order, which nearly annihalated the products available, and even had some people in line behind me eventually just leave due to lack of product. My first experience was not bad. The gentleman that helped me was friendly. I ordered 9 items (photo included). They were all delicious, although a little pricey. No problem. My 2nd experience is why I am giving this place a 1 star. I arrived maybe 30 minutes after opening on Friday morning, 09/19/25. I placed my order 8 croissants, and 1 pastry. The lady behind the counter ( light brown curly hair) was extremely rude. She told me that if I am going to place a large order I need to order ahead of time. She told me she should refuse my order but won't this time. She said she knew she was being rude but my order will mess up lunch orders. So glad this place came to Loma Linda! The pastries and service were next level! The owner herself served us her special blend of Turkish Tea, and the Spinach Croissant was light, buttery and the seasoning was aromatic and perfection. If you haven’t been yet, this place is a must!

We were down the street visiting a friend in the hospital and we are all foodies and always enjoy a good sweet. It was pretty empty when we went in about 9am. Not much selection. All of us got different things to try. The cinnamon rolls were dry and tasteless. No frosting just plane. More like a old crunchy croissant roll. Noone in our party was impressed with the food. Plus everything was expensive. As far as service, the gals behind the counter were just like, "What do you want". Not really helpful. The atmosphere was clean. Sad to say non of the 5 of us will be back. Next time we have to head to Loma Linda, We are going going to try the hospital cafeteria. One of the nurses said it's got wonderful food.

The pastries at this bakery have a nice flavor overall, but I was a bit disappointed with the level of doneness. My chocolate croissant today was quite dark, I am hoping they’re not familiar to a new oven and they’ll adjust. I also ordered a cappuccino, which arrived half full and quite bitter. I later realized it was made by a machine, which I hadn’t expected. While the atmosphere is pleasant and the baked goods have potential, I hope the team will consider baking the pastries for a slightly shorter time and reviewing their coffee preparation process. I look forward to seeing how they improve!
