Councilors Student Pavilion Café

I hadn’t eaten here for quite some time and was blown away with how delicious the food was now that it is under new management! Patty was also super nice and helpful at the hot buffet bar. I thoroughly enjoyed taco Tuesday— soyrizo potato tacos and the mushroom fajita taco. The vegetable spring roll served with peanut sauce from the refrigerated section was absolutely divine and super fresh! There is also a new fresh baked pastries section that looks absolutely delightful! I’m excited to try the sourdough bread loaf— they have a few different flavors including regular, Gouda & chive, etc. I would definitely recommend the Councilors Student Pavilion Cafe if you’re on campus!

Food is a solid 4/5 overall. Burger bar 5/5. Really the only thing holding it back from a full 5 stars is the prices. $8 for a cold sandwich is outrageous. Salad bar is fresh. All vegetarian food, with ample seating. Restrooms are clean and accessible. Lots of 2 hour parking. Great place to grab and go or sit and eat. Lots of kids boosters and high chairs too.

Great vegetarian menu, the burger bar is awesome but a bit on the expensive side for a veggie burger around $6 each. Everyday they have something new like the create your own pasta bar or the stir fry. Highly recommend this to anyone craving good vegetarian food.

A very uncomfortable experience from the manager and her team. Worst service / A very rude and loud manager raised her voice at me, I wonder if I was white or dressed more proper would I have been treated differently, it always seems that way. The manager and her crew have no manners or communication skills made me feel that I didn't belong there......it all started by asking if I may have a small portion of there main dish, I guess this wasn't right by them I noticed this situation escalating I just decided to part ways but before leaving the manager throws this at me " God bless you " Really? You that manager are the biggest hiprocate calling upon God to justify your wrong doing..
