Twisted Laurel Weaverville

OMG! Such amazing food! One of those places ya ordered same stuff every visit, its so good! My wife ordered pecan encrusted trout with risotto ... i had blackened salmon with a red pepper & fig glaze, over risotto. Both incredible! Even had a dawg menu! All the patrons we encountered were very friendly. Of course, we had our dawg with us! But its the kind of place, if we were locals we'd be regulars there!

Miles (formerly known as Cameron) is an absolutely outstanding bartender! He has an incredible personality that makes everyone at the bar feel welcome and taken care of. Even on the busiest nights, he stays calm, attentive, and quick — always keeping drinks flowing and guests happy. You can tell he truly enjoys what he does, and it shows in the quality of his service. Definitely one of the best in the business!

It's been years since I've visited Twisted Laurel and obviously I need to visit more often. We were early for dinner so we were seated right away. Our server, Danielle, was exceptional. Engaging, knowledgeable of the menu, and very pleasant. We ordered a variety of items off the menu, but I chose the nightly special BBQ ribs with a small Greek Salad. The food was great. The ribs bone, were good, and the French fries of all things were great. They offer a large menu with something for everyone. We plan on a return visit soon.

We love downtown Weaverville! Much better and more active than our own hometown in Tennessee but not as hectic and congested as Asheville, yet! Our experience at Twisted Laurel was fantastic! The place is massive! There were a lot of people standing around when we arrived but everyone was seated quickly! Huge drink and food menu! Host was great, server was great, food was great! Really can’t complain at all about any thing. Hard to pick what to eat from such a great menu! Highly recommend! Solid brunch and drink menu by the way!

BEST GLUTEN FREE BUN I’ve ever had. The sandwich was so delicious, juicy, and full of flavor and finally had a bun that could handle it all. Let’s not forget about these fresh cut fries perfectly cooked. The service was also amazing and super nice when asked questions about the menu. All members of our party enjoyed their dishes. We were happy to celebrate a birthday here.
