Twisted Greek

Wow. Probably some of the best Greek food I’ve had outside of Greece. We ordered the dips combo and the twisted combo, and the portions are huge. One platter could easily feed 3 very hungry people or 5 with normal appetites — and that’s coming from someone who already appreciates big servings. We were a group of six, and two couples ordered two twisted combos. Even though all four of us had only eaten breakfast that day, we still couldn’t finish them and left with massive to-go boxes (see photos). If you’re coming with four hungry people and also plan to get starters, one platter is probably enough. The pork sausage was the standout — insanely good — though I also really loved the tzatziki. I also appreciated that pita was only $1 each, so we could get plenty without having to ration it. S

The food here tastes very authentic and flavorful — you can tell they put care into their recipes. Portions are generous and definitely worth the price. The place itself is spotless, which is always a plus. Our waitress/bartender/server/porter (she seriously did it all!) was awesome — super friendly, attentive, and really kept things running smoothly. Great experience overall. I’ll definitely be back!

Food is always so fresh and everything has amazing flavors!!!! Super friendly staff as well!!!! Try it you won’t regret it!!!!

Off the charts with amazing Greek music. Superb waiter and waitress with incredible food. Best in NY. Also atmosphere is relaxed not high and snooty. Fantastic halloumi. Insanely fresh Greek salad with awesome tzatziki and the zucchini croquettes were mouth watering. For me as a Bifteki lover that was also juicy and tasty with a hint of beef/sausage flavor. Truly amazing Greek. No more going to Flushing or Astoria. They now have the Twisted Greek to look towards. Μπράβο!

I’ve eaten here a few times and have always loved it. My fiancée and I were pretty sure we found our new local Greek place! I got a gyro sandwich for takeout today, and found a couple of hairs in the sandwich. I would really like to continue coming here. Could you please make sure whoever is preparing the food is paying more attention/taking care to wear a hairnet? I usually wouldn’t say something if it was only 1 hair, but I found more than one.. Thanks!
