Tupelo Honey Southern Kitchen & Bar

From the greeting at the front door to final transaction between the server and our table were 5⭐ and beyond. Our food was hot, very tasty and the presentation was on point. As the restaurant got busier, we still received the attention we needed throughout our stay. This was our first time visiting and we will be back and I do and will highly recommend Tupelo Honey. We were a table of 5 and the star dishes were....Fried Green Tomatoes, the biscuits & the chicken waffle (the honey glaze was 🔥). There was one issue which was resolved immediately and that was the potatoes. They were overly salty, but our server exchanged them without any issues which helped our overall experience to be 5⭐'s

This was our first visit to Tupelo and it was a great experience. Our waiter was Connor, and he provided service like it was a high end establishment. He did and amazing job. Plating and taste were very good, although neither of us were fond of the arugula side salad. We don’t typically eat bread and such, but we couldn’t resist the biscuits with fruit preserves and butter.

Tupelo Honey was quite a nice surprise. It has a very brunch like atmosphere and is Southern through and through. I was BEYOND pleased with the appetizer of fries green tomatoes. To my surprise, it came over their to die for grits. Wow, everything on that plate was moth watering. I got the shrimp and grits which they are very well known for. The sauce was rich and super tasty. I was very happy with the spicing and quality of the dish. The meatloaf was kind of Asian tasting as it had a soy sauce like glaze. It was very filling and ate heavy. The sides were on point and extremely good. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I got the shrimp and grits. The shrimp was good but the grits desperately needed more seasoning. Also the portion is way too small to be honest. I was still hungry after eating it. The meatloaf was also not very good. Ill probably come again for the chicken and waffles

I’m a longtime fan of Tupelo Honey in Myrtle Beach, SC — it’s a must-visit for me every year. Since I live in Cleveland, I was excited to take a 2-hour drive to the Columbus location, hoping for the same great experience. Atmosphere & Service The restaurant was very clean and well-kept. We waited about 10 minutes for a booth, even though some were already clean. Everyone was seated in one compact area, which made it quite noisy — but it was the sound of people enjoying themselves, so I didn’t mind too much. They also have outdoor seating available, and I noticed some guests dining with their dogs, which was nice to see.
