Tunnel City Coffee

Stopped in after visiting several area waterfalls/parks. Fantastic coffee! My husband, consumer of true coffee (dark roast & black), gave a hearty approval of his simple order. With my sweet tooth and tamer caffeine palette, I chose an iced latte with 2% and caramel. OMG!!! Best latte I’ve had in years! Can’t comment on the food, since we only had these drinks. Friendly, efficient service in a pleasant, welcoming space.

I had searched for coffee shops in North Adams and visited one before settling for Tunnel City. It was early Saturday morning and there wasn't a lot going on at Mass MoCa but they were open and serving an excellent selection of craft coffee and pastries. Had the Mocha, day's muffin (huge and delicious) and toasted everything bagel with cream cheese. Definitely my kind of place. Highly recommended.

Nice cafe right in front of the Mass MoCA entrance. Good coffee drinks in four sizes and a small collection of pastries.

The tunnel city at MassMoca is A small quiet coffee shop. Not to be confused with the bustling location in Williamstown. It is a great place to sit and work or read or to spark your creativity . The music level is perfect (the barista makes his own chill coffee shop music.) the vibe is very creative and people working at or visiting the museum pass through, and the muffins are fantastic (good tops, not too sweet.) for my money it’s the best coffee shop in the area.
