North Adams Public Library

I don't live in North Adams, but this library is wonderful for the area. Besides having a wonderful kids area with numerous books and toys, they also have a beautiful interior with sections for every age and interest. The librarians are wonderful, friendly, and incredibly helpful. There's always activities and groups to attend, I wish more teenagers would go so programs can keep running (low attendance is an issue for several of the clubs). My only issue is the lack of parking; not sure how/if that could be improved. Check out their Facebook for current events and then check out a book or two.

Absolutely beautiful building, very helpful and friendly staff. Clean, organized, quiet.

Very well put together. Staff was more than helpful even with other activities going on, including a job fair. One of the better serviced libraries I have visited.

Such a lovely library! I stopped in to visit and read some magazines. They had a great collection. There are a couple of rooms that are gorgeously decorated. It was a lively place with many people coming in and out and even a knitting group met there. It looks like they have some great community programs there.

My first time visiting the library today and everyone was super nice and welcoming . very comfortable and good vibes . Definitely a good place to go even if you’re just stopping in to say hello . Thank you will certainly be back soon
