We were craving Indian chaat and decided to stop by. We didn’t realize it’s primarily a takeout spot rather than a dine-in restaurant, but they were kind enough to accommodate us. We were a bit hesitant at first, but to our surprise, the food quality and taste were excellent. We ordered the paneer tacos, paneer kathi roll, samosa chaat, sev puri, and dahi puri — every dish was flavorful and well-prepared. The host even surprised us with a complimentary masala dosa, which was absolutely delicious. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend this place, especially for takeout or catering. Had a very talk with host Jafar…!!

I had an excellent lunch at Tulsi today. With so many options on the menu, it was hard to choose, but everything we ordered was fantastic. I started with Dahi Sev Puri, which had a light yogurt touch that balanced the flavors beautifully. We followed that with classic Indian street food favorites like pav bhaji and a Bombay sandwich — both comforting and full of authentic flavor. For South Indian dishes, the masala dosa and idli platter were well made and satisfying. The filter coffee stood out as well, with a subtle hint of caramel that added a nice twist. We ended the meal with gulab jamun, which had the perfect texture — soft, warm, and not overly sweet. Overall, great food, variety, and quality. I’d definitely recommend Tulsi for anyone craving authentic Indian street food and Sout

I ordered the idli sambar, masala dosa, vada pav, and pav bhaji, and every dish was honestly excellent. The food tasted incredibly fresh, flavorful, and truly authentic. The idlis were soft and comforting, the sambar was rich and perfectly spiced, and the masala dosa was crispy on the outside with a delicious filling inside. The vada pav and pav bhaji were standout items. so satisfying and packed with classic street-food flavor. You can really tell that a lot of care and passion goes into the food. It felt like comforting home-style Indian food with the excitement of street food. Without a doubt, this is the best Indian takeaway in the Valley. Highly recommend to anyone craving quality Indian food! I’ll definitely be coming back again!

Had an amazing experience at Tulsi and honestly, the food exceeded expectations. We tried the vada pav, pav bhaji, and sev puri, and each item was absolutely delicious. The flavors were spot on, with the perfect level of spice that enhances the dish without overwhelming it. It genuinely reminded me of authentic Indian street food — comforting, bold, and full of character. The vada pav was soft, flavorful, and perfectly balanced, the pav bhaji was rich, buttery, and packed with taste, and the sev puri was fresh, crunchy, and so satisfying. Everything tasted freshly made and carefully prepared. On top of that, the prices were very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. If you’re looking for real Indian flavors that feel nostalgic and authentic, Tulsi is definitely the place to go. H

My family and I were invited a little while ago to try some of their menu items and wow - the vada pav was visually appealing, the dosa was light and crispy and my personal favorite was the gulab jamun accented with the caramelized salt. Honestly - mouth watering. Would definitely recommend giving this spot a try if you're looking to order in.
