Went for dinner the other day. Food: We ordered Samosa(4/5), Gobhi Manchurian(3.5/5), Dal Makhani(3.5/5), Palak Paneer(4.5/5), Garlic Naan(4/5), and Kulfi(5/5). Service: The staff is very polite and courteous. Our server was Ali who ensured we had a great time. Even the owner, Ms. Kavita came and checked in on us if we liked everything. It was very nice of her to come and talk to us. 5/5 Atmosphere: This is one of the best Indian restaurants I have seen in the US. It has a nice vibe. The ambience was good. The restrooms were super clean. 5/5. Overall, it was a great experience and I’d go back again.

I recently dined at this restaurant and had an outstanding experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the food was beautifully prepared, and every dish was full of flavor. A special mention goes to our server, Ali, who truly elevated the experience. He was professional, attentive, and incredibly friendly. Ali made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed. His recommendations were spot-on, and his positive attitude made our visit even more enjoyable. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for great food and exceptional service. Thank you to Ali and the entire team for a wonderful evening

Eleven of my coworkers and I enjoyed a lovely evening at Tulsi a couple of weeks ago. We were celebrating two birthdays, and the staff could not have been more accommodating. Both people celebrating their birthdays felt very special and a joyous occasion was had by all. The goat masala and the garlic naan were my favorites as well as the rice pudding and the donut balls for dessert. While I was there, I also ran into a friend who also had nice things to say about their dining experience. I would recommend Tulsi to anyone craving Indian food or looking for a nice place to eat out. Prices were also quite affordable, the ambiance was magical and restrooms were pristine.

This was my first time trying Indian cuisine, and I couldn’t have picked a better place. From the moment we were seated at Tulsi in Carytown, we received menus right away and felt welcomed. Our waiter, Ali, was outstanding—attentive, professional, and very knowledgeable about the dishes. He gave excellent recommendations that made the experience even better. The food itself was absolutely incredible—hands down a 10/10. The flavors, presentation, and freshness exceeded all expectations. The atmosphere and vibe in the restaurant were just as impressive, also a 10/10. If you’re in the Richmond area and want to experience high-quality Indian cuisine, I can’t recommend Tulsi enough. And be sure to ask for Ali when you stop in—he made the whole experience unforgettable.

I'm giving it a 5 in every part but Food, now don't confuse a 4 in food for the food being bad. The food was incredible other than one thing. My wife loves food with a level of spice that I do not enjoy. She asked for their hottest while I asked for medium level. The kitchen got that part of our order wrong and put the extreme heat on my food and the medium on hers. Here I was thinking I just couldn't handle it and we all joked about how I needed to order mild next time. But upon eating her leftovers I found the heat to be a level in which I can handle. Other than that simple mistake, the staff, food, and atmosphere feels like it should be Michelin rated, yet it is entirely affordable. My food was so good that I ate it regardless of how intense the heat was. I will be going again and even
