Halal Maestro

I am Lebanese and am very hard to impress when it comes to shawarma. All the places I have tried have never come close to the Shawarma in Lebanon- except for Halal Maestro. They have EXCEEDED the Lebanese shawarma. I am beyond impressed and blown away at the quality and taste of the food. Our first time visiting the owner brought us so many complimentary sides and dishes to try with the shawarma. The generosity, cleanliness, taste, and atmosphere truly makes me want to visit every single day. They opened about a month ago, and this is our 7th visit so far. Halal Maestro is a family owned business that I am so proud to support and am happy to recommend to all my loved ones. RVA has been missing out on a place like this for a long time.

Great place to stop in for an authentic shawarma, or falafel sandwich. The beef lamb shawarma sandwich had all of the right ingredients and taste of the classic Lebanese shawarma. The chicken shawarma and the falafel wrap were also top. Give this place a try if you're looking for good take out at a reasonable price.

Amazing experience at this authentic Lebanese spot! The owner is incredibly kind and respectful – he welcomed us with a genuine smile and made us feel right at home.The food was 100% authentic and absolutely delicious. The chicken shawarma was perfection: juicy, tender chicken pieces perfectly seasoned with traditional Lebanese spices, wrapped in warm, soft bread. It came loaded with crunchy pickles, crispy fries inside for that extra texture, a generous drizzle of tangy pomegranate molasses that added a sweet-sour kick, and creamy garlic sauce that tied everything together. Every bite was packed with bold, balanced flavors – smoky, garlicky, tangy, and so satisfying. WALLAHI hands down the BEST falafel sandwhich I’ve everrrrrr had. I’ve put everyone I know on to their food here and they’ve all said the same thing. All their food is so delectable and made from straight loveeee u can just tell. Food here is better than the fancy restaurants trust.

Best shawarma I've had in/around Richmond. Everything was delicious. Lovely, friendly staff. Quick, affordable service. It is in a gas station so... that describes the atmosphere. We walked in thinking we were talking a gamble but it could be a new favorite and thankfully it turned out to be incredible. We'll be back.
