Tryst is a favorite! It has become a tradition for my friends and I to go for brunch on New Year’s Day and we love it! The food is delicious, the atmosphere is warm, and the staff are friendly. I haven’t found an item on the menu that isn’t amazing. The Potato Royal Sandwich is a refined take on the classic breakfast sandwich with light and fluffy scrambled eggs, a delicious aioli, hand crafted tater tot and crispy bacon. 10/10 recommend!
Nice ambiance and lively. First time here. I thought food was good but not amazing. Service felt a bit rushed and impersonal, esp on Valentines day when menu was quite expensive. Not bad. But not a slam dunk either.
Food is fantastic here and portions are outstanding. They had a decently sized outdoor dining area. We ordered the chicken sandwich, a burger, and the roasted carrots. Also ordered a mixed drink which was really tasty as well. Service was exceptionally slow though and the only thing bringing down the rating. Would def return!
Went for a date night (we are locals), the food was mediocre. We got 2 drinks, 2 small plates, and a dessert and it was close to $100 (20% included). The kitchen charged an allergy fee, which was an unpleasant surprise, had I been told I would have gotten a dessert cocktail instead. The fries were the best item we got; they were good, not great. And the drinks were made well they were just boring. The Staff was friendly no complaints with service outside of the lack of transparency on an allergy fee. We won’t go back.
Had the ricotta ravioli and they were delicious. On their own they weren’t very flavorful, but the sauce was excellent (mildly salty at times but this is usual when eating out at American restaurants overall I fear). The zucchini on the bottom were delicious and went well with the rest of the dish. I’m used to getting only a few pieces of ravioli that are not that great, even at well rated restaurants, so I was happily surprised by these. I feel like getting ravioli is a test of how good the restaurant is - so this one will be worth coming back to for a second time. Service was excellent and the inside is spacious enough that it feels like a good meeting spot. Not too loud, good lighting for an evening meal.
