Customer Reviews
Okay, so this may be the most honest review. I made a pickup order. The establishment is a little small but there's seating inside. Staff is incredibly warm and appear to be quite friendly. I see a lot of reviews with people giving 5 out 5 and for me, I didn't see that. Now, I may be a little bias because I've been deep into Mexcio and I used to live in Texas. As we all know, these places are known for their Mexican cuisine. Birria Taco: Pretty decent along with the consome. I asked for hot and I'm pretty sure it was extra mild. Either way the taco was okay. Not very much flavor with the beef. It tasted like beef out of a slow cooker after work but without flavor. Stick it in a taco with cheese and that's it. When ordering they're displaying 3 tacos but the order itself is only one taco.
Taco salad was delicious! Everything tasted super fresh and all their options are ‘made to order’ so you can modify toppings easily. Friendly staff, and the seating area was clean.
We had a big take out order from this place. We got burritos (I got beef, partner got fish) and they were just ok. Came with chips and salsa, which was a nice surprise! Chips were good. Salsa had a sort of aftertaste I didn't love. Maybe a smokey taste? The birria tacos were flavorful WITH the dip. Dry and bland otherwise. The plantains were cooked well and slightly sweet, great side! The yucca fries were disappointing! They left the tough middle part, so it wasn't for good eats. Pupusas were super dry with zero cheese. Churros were tasty with a custard filling. The tres leches was good too. Horchata was not bad! Would I go back? Probably not. Not because it was terrible by any means, but it was just nothing extraordinary. Seemed like ordering was a hit or miss on random items.
I came for the burrito 🌯, and the burrito was good! Don't come here expecting good atmosphere. Come for the good value on flavor.
Great quesidilla.. so good. Highly recommend. And they have great selection of real sugar sodas made in Mexico. So good.
