As a vegetarian, I’m surprised it took me this long to discover this place. Beyond the food, they also offer a wide variety of classes, though I haven’t tried any yet. There are a few indoor tables, but the rooftop outdoor seating is the real highlight, it offers stunning views and is absolutely beautiful. It took me a while to choose what to order because everything looked so tempting. I ended up getting the Sunset Tacos, which were fantastic, though a bit pricey for the portion size. I really love the concept of this place and hope they consider increasing the portions to better match the pricing.
What an incredible find in La Jolla! The peaceful vibe is unmatched. We tried the POG and Watermelon Lime kefir sodas, which were the perfect refreshing energy boost after a long beach walk. The Falafel Wrap was great, but the Trilogy Loaded Burger was the standout—honestly the best burger I’ve had in the US. As a vegetarian, it’s rare to find a non-processed, house-made patty that tastes this good. Reasonable prices and amazing quality; I’m definitely coming back to try the rest of the menu.
A Plant-Based Dream in La Jolla — Truly One of a Kind We were in San Diego for a business trip and stumbled upon Trilogy, and honestly… we ended up eating here every single day (and ordering takeout). This was the only place in the area that checked every box for us: organic, gluten-free, plant-based, no processed ingredients, and no refined sugar. That combination is almost impossible to find. There are plenty of vegan restaurants, but you never really know what’s in their food and lots of places rely on processed substitutes, seed oils, or sugary sauces. Trilogy is different. Everything is clean, intentional, and made with real ingredients. I usually have to cook all my meals when I travel because I don’t trust restaurant food, but it was such a relief to finally relax and enjoy a meal
Trilogy is the best vegan cafe in San Diego hands down! The seared spring rolls, enticing eggplant, mac & cheez are all delicious options, but the real star of the show is their sweet treats — I pretty much order their transcendent brownie and vegan cookies every time I come! The ingredient and flavor quality is so good, although it better be for the price haha. Only other downsides are the run-down environment and often unfriendly service, but I will still be back for the best healthy, vegan meals!
Trilogy is my home away from home. Whether I’m being guided by Gabrielle or Keith, or Amelia’s nourishing me in the cafe….I always feel so held in this community of beautiful souls! ✨✨✨✨
