What a fun and unique restaurant, mini grocery, clothing boutique, and lots of gift items. The owner Lisa loves to gather folks together, an example, she has a Tuesday lunch/game experience for older adults. It's called "The 90's Club". Check it out!
Excellent and quaint place run by a retired married couple. Portions are smaller than one might imagine regarding what we ate — Pepperoni Flatbread & Tri-Tip Sandwich — but are by no means modest and leave you satisfied. The food is absolutely delicious, modifiable within reason and well worth the price, just don’t expect to have any leftovers. Service and atmosphere is home-y and personable in a genuinely authentic way — these people are earnestly trying to do a service to their community and it shows. More places would do well to learn from what’s being done here and bring things back to a human level.
Just stopped in to grab some deserts on the way home after the beach. We love their chocolate chip cookie and I also wanted to try their banana bread. Both are super sized and so we ended up eating only half of each. The banana bread is tasty and not overly sweet, although I would like mine with raisins and walnuts. The cookie was really great with lots of dark chocolate chips. I'll have to come back and try a full meal sometime soon.
We stopped by hoping for a quick bite before heading to the beach, but our visit fell short of expectations. The menu offered soup, including a specialty minestrone, which seemed like a great option. However, we ordered a 12 oz portion and were charged $15.40 for a 16 oz size without a clear explanation. The service, unfortunately, added to the disappointment. Ellie was friendly with other customers but seemed to overlook our order. After waiting 10 minutes, I had to check in, only to hear they were “looking for a container.” From the open kitchen, it was clear the soup was just being pulled from the fridge and hadn’t been warmed up, which was frustrating for a quick stop. We really wanted to enjoy this local spot, as it has a charming setup, but the pricing mix-up and slow service made
Yum! The food was delicious and fresh! The owner was delightful to converse with and very attentive. She let my daughter customize her sandwich to her liking which was so fast great. Loved the overall vibe. Thanks for a great experience!
