Fresh feast!!!!! First of all I fell in love with the name. It is what drew me in. But oh my gosh it was perhaps the best pasta I’ve had this side of Italy!!!! The pasta is made on site as is everything else! That tomato sauce was perfection and the meatballs! Nothing was too rich, too oily, too processed. It was a sunny fall day and I sat outside and was blissed out. The wait staff are adorable as well! The girl from Sicily! 😃🌟
Delicious bacon egg and cheese on croissant. Met one of the partners and he was kind. The staff is courteous and respectful. Music was just right volume and black drip coffee was nice and hot. I sat near the window and had lovely light shining in. Defiantly a great spot to visit with a friend or do some work for a bit.
I visited in the morning and was delighted with their coffee and paninis. The experience was so good that I returned in the evening, and the atmosphere is simply perfect. The service is excellent, the menu is very well thought out, and the pasta is delicious. Highly recommended!
Travelers Poem and Friends in the West Village is a wonderful restaurant that feels inviting from the moment you walk in. The atmosphere is cozy yet lively, with a thoughtful design that makes dining here a real pleasure. The menu offers a nice balance of creative and comforting dishes, all prepared with great flavor and attention to detail. Service is warm and attentive, and the staff make you feel genuinely welcome throughout your meal. It’s an ideal place for catching up with friends, enjoying a relaxed date, or simply treating yourself to great food in a great neighborhood. I’ll definitely be coming back!
I'm so sorry I have write this review because I'm so sad. I HATED the pistachio pasta. First off, appetizers were amazing -- we got the farro salad, ricotta toast. except for the cabbage -- it was very strange with a weird sauce on top. Not my favorite :/ Drinks were pretty good too-- LOVED the bittersweet symphony and aperol spritz. Service was amazing though. We were a party of 5 and we had to split the bill for reimbursement purposes and the man very kindly and ardently tried to figure out how to split the apps on the system. Loved him. But what made me disappointed was the pistachio pasta. It was incredibly bland. There was no sauce or seasoning to hold together the dish. It desperately needed cheese or a pesto sauce. Literally ANYTHING. I love a pistachio but this pasta completely
