Traveler's Loft

My husband booked a loft here for 1 night as we planned to visit a friend nearby the next day. We arrived and the grounds were beautiful - I’ll give them that. We initially thought everything was fine, but it was freezing as no heat had been turned on in who knows how long. We got that turned on and noticed layers and layers of dust in the heater vent - nobody has wiped that down in a long time. Upon exploring the bedroom area, I wanted to close the window shades but noticed a significant amount of black mold lining the edges of the window and a thick layer of mold in the corner. We inquired about this but management was dismissive and claimed it’s just what happens in the country due to condensation. My wife and I stayed here with our toddler son for 3 nights in June and loved our stay. The loft apartments are clean, comfortable and well maintained. The lodging is self catering and the hosts were welcoming and helpful but not intrusive. We were able to relax in privacy and enjoy the peaceful view across the cornfields from the back porch of the apartment. The room had wifi and a TV. There are local sights to see and plenty of great food from the Amish culture in the area. We took our son to the petting zoo just down the road and he loved it. We would definitely recommend this place to our friends and if you are looking for a quiet place to retreat to this is an excellent choice.

The owner texted me the day before my scheduled arrival to tell me she had to cancel my stay. No real reason was given to me other than “a hiccup” came up. My trust with this owner has been violated & caution other prospects to beware.

I am not one to stay at anyone's "house" or on anyone's property that isn't a hotel or anything that resembles staying at someone's house, but this place is beyond that. As soon as we pulled in, it was super simple on how to check in and out. We opened the door, and by no means is this the Ritz Carlton, but it's nice enough. I kept asking my wife for a divorce so I can move into this perfect of an apartment. It's perfect to have somewhere to sleep off the fun you had out here in amish country and wash off the sweat you accrued while doing it. The only thing that I personally did not like was the bed. If you like sleeping on a cloud, it's perfect. But personally, for me, I like sleeping on something harder than the driveway you pulled into... great place 10/10 would stay here again.

We just loved staying at the Traveler's Country Loft! Quiet surroundings, beautiful landscape, super clean accommodations and warm, welcoming owners...what more could you ask for? How about a bed that makes you sleep like a baby? Check. A location convenient to just about any tourist site you may want to see? Check. Reasonable rates that don't break your budget? Check. You won't regret staying here during your visit to Amish Country!
