Trattoria Nina

I had stopped here on a whim coming back from the airport and it was amazing. Chef Angelo was one of the best chefs I've ever encountered. The pasta was beautifully done as were the mussles. The atmosphere was also great. 5 tables in the whole place and he and his sous chef came around as the waiters as well. He checked in, gave wine recommendations and some wonderful conversation as well. We were SO lucky that they had space that evening and I've added to my lists of go-tos. Well worth the trip and we'll be back! Thank you, Chef Angelo!

I lived in Italy and did culinary school there. I've eaten at hundreds of authentic Italian restaurants. No restaurant in USA has really ever scratched the itch of those places like Trattoria Nina. I last ate here 6 years ago and I'm happy to report this place still scratches that itch. It really feels like you've been invited into someones home off the street in Firenze or Bologna and you're eating nonna's cooking. The music was charming and it's such a great vibe. Excited to come back soon.

Love sitting outside here. The owner and his sons are very welcoming and the owner takes your order then goes into the kitchen to cook it which is lovely! He speaks very passionately about his food and makes great recommendations. Their menu is smaller as a result of the pandemic but it states they can cook older dishes if you ask. The prices are reasonable considering the cost of EVERYTHING everywhere (but specifically in the restaurant industry) has gone up. It’s a lovely neighborhood spot on a warm summer night.

Food was absolutely amazing! We had the Caesar Salad, fresh Pappardelle Pasta with Lamb Ragu, the Vegetarian Lasagna with a Smoked Tomato Sauce, and the Strawberry Lemon Tiramisu. Everything was delicious 😋 Can't wait to go back!

Excellent appetizers and desserts. Entrees presentation-perfect and delicious. Wines superb. VERY limited seafood and gluten-free options. I will go again in spring or summer.
