Trattoria Amalfi

Dinner at Amalfi Trattoria was absolutely fantastic. From the moment the food hit the table you could tell this place takes pride in every detail. We started with a beautiful spread of appetizers. The stuffed clams were packed with flavor and perfectly baked, and the salad was fresh, vibrant, and balanced with citrus and almonds. Everything felt thoughtfully prepared rather than rushed. For the mains, the steak with broccolini was cooked perfectly and served with a rich sauce that tied the dish together beautifully. The roasted chicken dish was tender and juicy with roasted vegetables and a silky gravy that tasted like it came straight from an Italian grandmother’s kitchen. Even the mashed potatoes were next level — creamy, buttery, and clearly made from scratch. Dessert sealed the deal

Delicious food, professional service and cozy atmosphere. I was surprised to discover this restaurant right near Mystic Aquarium The food was delicious. I loved the grilled octopus and my son loved their French fries and foot long hotdog. Black Manhattan cocktail was good also. The server was professional and he accommodated all our requests. Great location. The restaurant has a full bar on premises, and kids menu.

A beautiful, delicious restaurant in a charming little area of Mystic! The staff was phenomenal- friendly, informative, helpful, and quick with all of our food/drink orders without making us feel rushed! They made adjustments to our orders with no complaints, making us feel more than welcome and not like an obnoxious burden as other places have in the past. The atmosphere was fun, light, and welcoming. We had two young children with us, one of whom is an extremely picky eater, and we found this restaurant to be very kid friendly, with more than one option for them to consider and enjoy! Both of the adults in our group greatly enjoyed every single thing that we ate and drank as well! Such phenomenal staff and delicious food, we will definitely be back the next time that we are in the area!

Came here with my girlfriend for valentines dinner they had a preset 4 course meme and it was FANTASTIC! The app spread was amazing and all around very easily could tell everything on the menu was fresh and made from scratch. Pastas and sauces especially could tell they were fantastic. We both got filet mignon medallions and they were hands down the best filet I have ever had! Perfectly cooked and the meat quality was phenomenal. Staff was amazing and overall couldn’t say enough good things. For the price definitely was worth it if you appreciate great quality food. Will definitely be coming back!

Very open and welcoming when you arrive. Server was friendly. The atmosphere was a bit empty feeling. The food was mediocre, except for the meatball appetizer, that was delicious. My braised beef was tough and very chewy as was the chicken parm. The sandwich was dry, even adding plenty of the sauce provided on the side. The servings were a decent size, but still seemed pricey considering the quality of the meal.
