Mermaid Inn of Mystic

We enjoyed our stay at this cozy and charming inn. The breakfasts each morning were obviously made with quality and fresh ingredients. Our favorites were the French toast and blueberry pancakes. Our room fit two comfortably with modern updates to bathroom and adjustable bed. The inns owner Jo, with her 25 + years of local knowledge, was friendly and a joy to converse with. We will definitely be returning.

The Mermaid Inn was so cozy and charming it felt like home. The Mermaid Room was comfortable for two (significant other and myself) with a fully adjustable tempur-pedic bed and washrooms/wc that were modern. The breakfasts were amazing with obvious use of quality ingredients. The inn owner Jo was friendly and welcoming and a delight to converse with yet gave us our space/privacy. Her 25 years of local knowledge was helpful in planning our days. We will return for sure.

This Inn and the owner Josephine are amazing. Beautiful room and excellent breakfasts. Within in walking distance to everything in mystic. I highly recommend staying there anytime. |Josephine went out of her way to accommodate us with our 1960 car so it had a safe place to stay as well.

We just spent 4 nights at Mermaid Inn. It was even better than we had anticipated. The location is perfect - not far from the water and within a leisurely strolling distance to everything downtown. Josephine was a welcoming hostess who met our every need, with a full breakfast every morning out under the gazebo. Mystic itself is lovely - the old homes and flowering beds are stunning! Stonington and Essex provided some beautiful sightseeing nearby. This trip provided the relaxing getaway we were seeking for our anniversary.

We are fan favorites of Mystic and visit quite often. Mostly day trips. We were fortunate to stay the weekend and see how truly romantic Mystic is. The quiet inn is just the best, the walkability of this location is superb. the porches are to die for. I felt like a neighbor sitting on the new swing. The service and rooms are updated and comfortable.|The breakfast was so nice. The other guests were friendly and share stories of their daily adventures. don't hesitate booking this very special place. You will become a fan for sure.
