Trail's End Resort, Restaurant and Bar

We stopped at Trail's End for lunch while driving to Vermillion Falls. We drove down the short drive to the resort and weren't sure where the restaurant was located. It is located in an unassuming building on the right overlooking the water. The restaurant has a casual bar/grill atmosphere with a deck overlooking the water. We chose to sit on the deck and enjoy the beautiful view. We were served quickly by a friendly and helpful server who offered to take our picture for us and made sure we had everything we needed. I ordered the walleye sandwich (calling it pickerel because I am from Michigan with Canadian heritage). It was an absolutely delicious sandwich. I enjoyed speaking with the owners who were friendly and gracious people. It is obvious they work hard to serve their client

Did not stay at the resort as we own acabin nearby. Had dinner there last year and am going back this year. Great food, good prices, large servings. Owners were friendly and wanted to be sure we had a great meal. We did. I give them an A+

We tent camped for three nights and rented a boat. The owners were very nice and accommodating. Had great drinks at the bar and caught plenty of fish. We used the kayaks as well. This place was great, had everything you needed, restaurant, bar, boat rental, shower, and other toys to use free of charge. Thanks so much for having us! We will be back!

I was travelling myself up to Voyageurs NP and struggling to find accommodation in Crane Lake area which a) was suited for individuals not family/groups, and b) not over $130/night. I came into Trails End after hiking along Echo trail from Ely, and after seeing the customer service in the restaurant and the beauty of the lake, I decided to camp in my tent for 2 nights @ $40/night. They even offered kayaking on the lake as part of the deal....SOLD! The husband/lady duo really hard workers, nice friendly atmosphere, wifi, and one of the best tastiest steak and shrimp meals I've ever had. Highly recommend
