Neat looking lodge on a beautiful and peaceful property. We stopped in for coffee. Loved getting to connect with the owner and hear more about his family, the resort, and it's history.

Great people and great ice cream ! Such a fun spot ! Got to be a part of the new tradition when you finish the barrel of ice cream which was fun too !

While in the area, I googled “coffee near me” and pelican lake coffee popped up. I was skeptical at first but to my surprise it was a gorgeous cozy resort with delicious coffee and ice cream options! Just what we needed :) Once you pull into the resort, keep driving past the cabins to main lodge & you will be greeted kindly and served with a smile! Glad we stopped in and plan to come back!

Stumbled across this while driving around outside Voyageurs NP! We were greeted right away and served some great coffee and ice cream! I wish I had found this place to stay as the resort area looked fun and the staff were so kind!

What a special place to stumble upon by foot, boat or car! Island View Resort is a sweet place to visit, stay, play and experience! We found it on Google Maps and From the moment we started walking towards the coffee sign we were welcomed by Randy and he pointed us in just the right direction to enter the coffee shop and ice cream parlor in the main lodge of Brett & Alaine’s Island View Resort. Randy recommended the special, Affogato, new to us, so that is exactly what we ordered and thoroughly enjoyed during a great visit with Alaine & Scrappy. Our visit was so delightful that we returned a couple days later, but this time we had delicious ice cream from their 8 flavor options and had another wonderful visit with Alaine and then we relaxed on the bench by the lake watching the turtles.
