Topsail Steamer

This place is phenomenal!! For decades I made my own steam pots for guests but now I just use them and it is easier, cheaper and yes better than my own!!! It is so easy, jut tell them how many people. They give you everything, simple instructions, even a paper to cover you table. At the end you wrap everything up in the paper, shove it in the steam pot and throw it out; NO MESS AT ALL! Great for a meal, or just something to pick on with drinks when you get back from the beach. By the way the staff are so friendly that you would go back even if it wasn’t so good!

Overall we love Topsail Steamers and order 1-3 times each summer. Overall it’s a reasonable value for money compared to the restaurants and service is typically really good but you are obviously making your own food although it’s relatively easy. Food quality is good. My only pet peeve is I do find them to nickle and dime a little. For example if you order too much food they charge you for an extra pot (why not throw in at that point?)

Great takeout dinner experience when you don't like going out! Seafood was fresh and flavorful and super easy to cook and follow their instructions. One pot cooking so not a lot of clean-up which is great. Some other feedback: The clams were super sandy, they don't seem like they were cleaned at all. All of the clams were at the bottom so all of the seasoning settled in the clam shells at the bottom. We tried both Topsail Steamer and Outer Banks Boil this summer and while both were great and we enjoyed them very much, Outer Banks Boil gets my #1 vote.

What a great idea! We ordered twice while on our 2 week vacation and couldnt be happier. The people working there are just so friendly and helpful. The seafood has always been fresh and ready on time for pickup. Its so easy to do and everyone is now obsessed. Jimmy's way is the best option for seasoning. We did build your own pot both time and it was the perfect amount .

I’ve ordered pots from Topsail Steamer many times and was more than satisfied on every occasion. At first I was a little confused on the process but the kind and helpful staff explained the process as well as guided me on what to order. Each time the cooking process went flawless and went exactly as it was explained on the instruction card. The corn, potatoes and seafood were very fresh and went well with the classic seasoning. Not only was the food delicious, the experience is always one to remember. No matter if you have a large party or just a few people, I 100% recommend Topsail Steamer for a dinner soon.
