Tootsie's Tacos and Burgers

Finally got through here tonight, the two gentlemen running the place were super nice. We ordered the deep fried tacos with beef. Amazing👏. Fries were hot. Tried the beans and the rice don't skip out on those, they were great too!

We were driving home after work and wanted a fast food fix, so we stopped by Tootsie's for the first time after passing it a few times before. There was no line on a Tuesday around 7:30pm so we were lucky since other reviews have some complaints about long wait times. We were taken care of immediately, and our order was ready in about 5-7 minutes. My husband and I got 2 orders of fries with 1 apple pie. I was amused with the apple pie since it was more like a crispy apple wrap. (See photos for what I mean) The fries were excellent- crunchy shoe string type fries that had just the right amount of salt. Really enjoyed my experience very relaxed very nice! Really loved the man who served us didn't catch his name but thank you!! The food is very delicious, vegan bowl. Check them out if you around!

It was our first time since they opened. Firstly the young girl who took our order and everything else was a delight. She played a large part of our positive experience. Secondly we thoroughly enjoyed the food. I had the cheese burger combo. The double cheese burger was very good and the fries were old school delicious. My wife had the chicken tenders (I tried them too) and we agreed they were as good as we have had anywhere. It is nice to know we have a convenient take out restaurant far superior to any fast food restaurant and is locally owned. Rest assurd we will be back.

Ok. This is my third and last try for Tootsies, I gave benefits of doubt erased my one star 500 word opinion and tried a second time. It was ok BUT! Nasty cheese greasy shells yada yada. Now to the third attempt here and I ordered the "Goliath Burger". The name fell pretty short of the product. The patty wasn't impressive to say the least It was 🤮 under cooked an pinkish. Blah. Literally fell apart. 6 pickles!! 🥒 Three cracker sized onion. Huge unskilled cuts. I mean they were a 3rd size of the patty. Who does that? Not a trained cook that's for sure. So gander the pictures I provided and have a look. Messy condiments. Just not with the time or the money. Go to woodlands for that Goliath Burger if that's what youre looking to find.
