Lochloosa Harbor Diner

Absolutely delicious and charming as heck! Jeannie is as good as it gets for service and hospitality AND chef skills! She was the only person there and was magnificent! The frog legs ands fried shrimp were real southern delights and her homemade banana pudding was out of this world! This is not a fancy place, the dishes and utensils are all disposables, but it is some of the best southern style food you’ll find and the place was very clean too! Highly recommend this little diner!! We’ll be back!! *****

I plan to stop again! Nothing special. Just a great little lakeside diner with a limited menu. The food was good. Nothing fancy or compliced. Very refreshing! Parking might be hard to find on the weekend.

Great little spot on our way north! We ate outside (several tables available) since we had our dog with us. Beautiful view! My cheeseburger with sweet potato fries was delicious! Husbands loved the fried green tomatoes that were offered today along with his fish/fries. He had leftovers. Service was excellent! So glad we stopped in!

The food at the diner is top notch! Jennie’s specials especially Thursday and Friday are amazingly good! My favorites are Meatloaf Thursday and Fried Shrimp Friday and so much more! Forgot frog legs are on the daily menu! Yummy, my mama loves them!

The best service, food and atmosphere for dining by the lake. Prices are very reasonable and quality of food and portions are excellent. Jennie works the diner by herself and is AMAZING making sure everyone is happy. Our mascot, Lucy the chicken is alway awaiting for her bread on our porch
