Toni's Detroit Style Pizza

This spot has been on my list for awhile and I finally got to try it for lunch. Normally, I try a few dishes before giving a rating but I felt that the pizza that I had was so good that I'm sure the others will be just as good. I got the Detroiter which, I think is their signature pizza and it was just awesome. Cooked perfectly with proper char (not burnt) and great crunch on the crust that is unlike a Sicilian that is typically doughy. The sauce had great flavor and balance with the cheese and pepperoni. This was my first Detroit style and I'll take it over a Sicialian any day of the week. Next time I'm bringing the family with me so we can try multiple pizzas lol. Service (Sue) was great and super friendly. Well done!

Pizza is amazing and so delicious! Love the Detroiter pizza with extra pepperoni and a little Mikes hot honey. Every time the food is fantastic and I always leave happy and full.

Checked out Toni’s Detroit Style Pizza in Charleston and I’d give it a strong four stars. I’ve been wanting to try Detroit-style for a while, and this place definitely delivered a solid first impression. I ordered a classic Detroit-style pepperoni and an order of cheesy bread. The pizza was thick, crispy on the edges, and really filling. The crust had that crunchy, almost caramelized cheese along the sides, which was probably my favorite part. Sauce had good flavor and the toppings felt fresh, not overly greasy. It’s heavier than your typical pizza, but in a good, satisfying way. The atmosphere felt laid-back and casual, like a good spot to hang with friends or grab dinner without it feeling too formal. It is the best Detroit Style Pizza south of the Mason Dixon line. Period. I had a super pizza and it was fantastic. I'll definitely go back.

Great pizza. 3rd time having this pizza. So good everytime. The crust gets me everytime. New ricotta pizza is amazing!!! Must try. Impressed the girlfriend, thank you so much. We loved it. Will be back again! Consistently is key! Great job
