Vampire Penguin - Mount Pleasant _ Charleston

Saw this place online and was intrigued to try it as the concept was different than anything we had seen before, it’s like a creamy shaved ice! Got the pineapple whip and the chocolate covered strawberry, so good!! Much lighter than eating ice cream and you don’t feel bad after eating it since they were each under 250 calories. Would definitely come again to try some of the other flavors too.

Shaved Snow beats snowcones, ice cream, and cake hands down! I stop in every time I'm in town and wish we had one in my area. All flavors are fantastic! The staff is amazing and the owner and his son are so fun to talk to....love the fun atmosphere! Vampy the Penguin is the best! 10/10 recommend

Very light dessert. I had the Tuxedo. It had strawberries, marshmallows, condensed milk & chocolate syrup. It was very tasty! It tastes similar to ice cream, but is shaved so not as heavy. Very good. Service was fast and very polite. Would recommend!

Absolutely love this place! I tried the strawberry cheesecake and coconut cream snow flavors, and they were incredible. My son said it was like eating snow, but the best ice he’s ever had—he couldn’t stop smiling. They’re open late, which makes it even more convenient, and we’ll definitely be coming back again and again. Highly recommend!!

Server was super nice and friendly. Absolutely delicious not as heavy as ice cream. A nice light dessert. Highly recommend you give them a try!!!
