Tom Yum Koong Restaurant

I’ve been driving past this Thai restaurant for years and never realized what I was missing until I tried it. I’m so glad I finally made the time to visit this hidden gem. It’s so much bigger on the inside than I expected with seating for 42. The food was incredibly authentic and bursting with flavor but what also added to the experience was the amazing staff, Paul & Ellie were so helpful and went over and beyond to make our visit one worth coming back to. The prices are very reasonable with good size portions. I absolutely love everything about this Thai restaurant and I will recommend it to everyone!

Happiest accident we have had in a long time. Unassuming from the outside, the food and service is 5-star! We got the seafood madness, cashew nut, fried ice cream and of course crab rangoon. Every dish was so flavorful and fresh, loved every bite!

I’m a foodie from Japan, and honestly, this was one of the most disappointing dining experiences I’ve had in the Boston area. We chose this restaurant because of its strong ratings and a positive review in the Boston Globe, but we immediately regretted it. The noodle bowl was shocking. It had little substance and barely any toppings. I know I may sound harsh, but to me it felt like the Thai spirit was completely missing. The second dish was also shockingly small for the price — to the point that I thought it was a joke — and the taste was just average. This place might be satisfactory for some diners, but for an Asian foodie who’s familiar with real Thai flavors, it was deeply underwhelming.

This is a very authentic place for Thai food. The menu is very comprehensive and the service is very fast. It is so popular that, at times, there is a long waiting time for you to get a table, considering the size of the place. As far as alcohol they only serve wine and beer. The prices are average and the food is delicious! I recommend this place!
