No need to go downtown for an incredible dining experience! Amazing tapas and drinks (don’t sleep on the Paloma) in a cozy, welcoming space. The brunch on the weekend is also incredible; huevos rancheros were very fresh and authentic, and the duck Reuben sandwich hit the spot. Service was also great— you won’t feel rushed to get out the door. Truly Washington Heights’ best kept secret— always a good idea to book reservations in advance because seating is limited. Can’t wait to go back!
I went to try the restaurant week menu. Got Arugula and portobello salad (appetizer), Beef paella (entree), and Crema catalana (desert). Every single one of the courses was outstanding. Here, you will have the chance to get a superb mediterranean meal for under 60 dollars per person (without the tip). The service was super attentive as well. I definetly recommend the place.
My van back home out of state got delayed, and I was really hungry. I was in the mood for Tapas. So, I was able to find this Tapas restaurant while waiting the extra two hours (no thanks to Titos van service). Ill start with the decor. The restaurant is tiny compared to most spanish/Tapas restaurants ive been to. But the ambiance of the restaurant was nice. It didn't remind of Spain, but it was elegant, cozy, a nice hue flowed through the room. Now for the food....... oh lord. I see this restaurant somehow garnered over 4 star reviews.... I had the jam croquettes, the goat cheese and spinach omelette and a chocolate mousse. The croquettes were terrible. The most tasteless ones ive ever had and ive been to many Tapas restaurants with croquettes. There was no flavor. Just a bland white
We came here for a special celebration dinner and it’s my new favorite local spot. Highly recommend the Tinto Sour, paella and bacon wrapped dates as standout dishes. Also, our waiter made some excellent suggestions about the order of the dishes that enhanced our meal. It was great to see this place almost full - if you’re local please come and dine here and support this spot!
I came here to make a reservation and had to chime in. Anytime I visit my friends in Hudson Heights, we stop in here for a meal or a drink together. We’ve tried near everything on the menu and enjoyed every bite. But shout out to the duck breast and the garlic shrimp. Burrata too. Oh and the Brussels sprouts. This place is such a hidden gem with a beautiful menu and gorgeous wine and cocktail list. The hardworking staff are warm and inviting, and the cozy space makes lingering over the last sips of wine give vacation vibes.
