Tino's Artisan Pizza & Mercato

We dined here and had a wonderful experience. The wait staff was amazing, and the restaurant is also BYOB. With only 8 seats, it has an intimate, cozy feel—perfect for our group of six. We started with fried mozzarella and zucchini flowers, followed by fresh salads (beets and Caesar). For our main course, we enjoyed the pizzas, which were excellent. For dessert, my daughter had gelato, and we brought a cake and other treats to celebrate. Everything was fresh, delicious, and beautifully prepared. We highly recommend this spot and look forward to returning.

$33 for two “hot” sandwiches that were lukewarm warm and maybe 7 inches long. Dry. No sauce. To be found. Anywhere. Fries were somehow burnt, soggy, flavorless, and short. Low quantity. Not a bang for your buck. Took the family out here on my only day in town to pick up lack luster food. Do not come here.

They had me at the scriptures on the wall! If you haven’t checked out Tino’s Artisan Pizza in Rumson yet, definitely stop by. This all natural organic spot is wonderful! The pizzas and salads are absolutely delicious. The gelatos are beyond yummy too! And the service is as friendly as it gets. I’ve been a couple of times, and overall I find the pizza to be ok. I use to really like their Cacio E Pepe pizza, but now they barely put any shredded Parmesan on it. I noticed they been skimping on cheese all together so I’ve asked for extra cheese on all my pizzas. The Bori, Eggplant Parm, and Pesto pizzas I found to be good, but not great. The ingredients are always fresh, but the pizzas all have been bland. Even their red sauce is bland as well.

Amazing pizza, lovely staff and fast service. We’ve been coming here ever since it opened. Consistently wonderful artisan pizzas with quality ingredients. Desserts also great and pizza dough to-go perfect for homemade dough ball in air fryer. Sad they stopped serving the polenta free and Nutella strawberry pizza. Owner also great guy and has helped support local schools.
