Tina's Pizza

I have waited for Tina's to open, and joined their Insta page for updates. When they opened, I knew the wait for fabulous pizza, was over. I love Bettina's but waiting for a reservation when one wanted 'pizza now' was often met with frustration. Now, one can walk in and order, or call ahead and order and walk out...easy peasy. However, you may want to stay and eat it in the open air courtyard. It's beautiful and well appointed. Greenery, a water feature, heaters (for chilly weather), fire places, comfy couches, sweet seating, gorgeous wood tables, plants, etc. It's so pretty. There are indoor places to sit as well. There are high chairs for the littles, and access to restrooms. There are several resturants surrounding the courtyard. My friend and I each ordered the Pepperoni Pizza from Tin

Hands down the best pizza in Carpinteria! The crust is perfectly baked...crispy on the outside and soft inside. The toppings are fresh and flavorful. The staff is welcoming and the service is quick. Whether you’re grabbing a quick slice or a full pie for the family, Tina’s delivers on quality and taste.

Located within the new’ish Linden Square complex, we’d been curious to try Tina’s and Third Window on our coastal roadtrips. Beautifully designed w a thoughtful speciality market, the menu is small, but well prepared. On our recent visit, they had sold out of slices (Sicilian style) for the day and learned the meatball app on the online menu is no longer an option at this location. Instead, we ordered the Caesar and paired it with additional food from Third Window Brewing. Holy delicious! Crisp, local lettuces, the perfect amount of Parmesan, and a dressing so good, I understand why they sell it by the pint in the shop. Definitely will visit and try more items on a future trip.

Wait, did I just have a Rhode Island pizza strip in California? That focaccia style bread, NO cheese, just sauce… crazy. So when I ordered the slice, that’s not what I was expecting, but it was very good for what it was. I had pepperoni, and the pepperoni was absolutely amazing. the red sauce was sweetened a bit. Very very good. I admit I’m not into the focaccia style (Sicilian) pizza, but it was really well done. Though I missed the cheese. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I would really love to just be able to get a regular slice of pizza, Neapolitan style, rather than buying a whole pie . But either way, I’ll never be truly satisfied. Because I lived in nyc during the $1/slice pizza years. No pizza like it. And 1/10 the cost.

Love this addition to Carp! I like having a casual alternative to Bettina with the same incredible pizza dough and lots to do within walking distance. Also the snack / provisions area is a great place to get snacks for the beach. Will be back!
