Brass Bird Coffee is a fantastic spot! The breakfast sandwiches, avocado toast, and pastries are delicious. The staff is friendly, service is quick, and parking is convenient. I love the bright, welcoming atmosphere with the cozy outdoor patio and fire pit. This is a must-visit coffee shop!

If I lived in Carpinteria, this would be my go-to breakfast spot—alas, I was only in town for a wedding. By 8 a.m. the place was already buzzing, and when we drove past at 11 the outdoor tables were still full. I had the Breakfast Sandwich on sourdough with egg, sausage, cheddar, caramelized onions, tomato, and arugula—an elevated take on a classic, and honestly one of the best breakfast sandwiches I’ve had. Bonus points for the sourdough, which held everything together without being heavy. My mom loved her sandwich too, and my dad’s Avocado Toast (with tomato, shallots, lemon zest, and balsamic) needed some more seasoning, but was simple and fresh; add the optional egg if you want more richness. We sat outside which is a pretty patio with fire tables and shade or sunny spots. We ordered 2 drinks which took a long time to receive and one of them was wrong but they took it back and brought out the correct drink. Pastries are very tasty. Staff was friendly and overall it’s a really cute spot and we would definitely return.

The moment I walked in, the staff was warm, welcoming, and incredibly polite — even with my pet rabbit, who they treated with so much kindness. The place is beautifully maintained with a welcoming ambiance, making it perfect for studying, hanging out with friends, or just passing time with family.
