The Kansas City Wrap was excellent, featuring high-quality fresh ingredients and a surprisingly authentic regional BBQ flavor. Their Java Bar is also top-tier confirmed by my girlfriend; the Mocha Caramel coffee was delicious and a clear step above your standard corporate brews. Perfect time capsule of the '90s when things were cutting edge and subculture-- the art, the vegetarian handwritten menus and the riot grrl feminism. This place was and is cutting edge. It's a must- visit for vegetarians, vegans, and nestled in the heart of Port Jeff harbor, there's truly nothing else like it and it's not a chain. It used to take cash only like most independent business -- and ever since 2020 it takes both cash and card. Their veggie burger is the best mediest non--meat I've ever had in my years of being vegan and vegetarian. Great little find in Port Jefferson. Excellent vegan and vegi menu with some meat options as well. Seating and decor is very different giving the place a great atmosphere. Staff very friendly and helpful and the food was amazing. They also have some terrace seating outside at the back. Highly recommend a visit.

This is my favorite place in Port Jeff! The food is consistently delicious, with so many interesting options to choose from. I don’t think I’ve ever had something I didn’t love in my 8 years coming here. The staff is so friendly and the music and artwork creates such a fun, funky atmosphere that is truly unique! You can really tell everything is made with love. Highly recommend choosing Tiger Lily Cafe if you’re looking for a place to eat in Port Jeff!
