Update: I’ve been a loyal customer for years, but my recent experiences have been disappointing. For two consecutive weekends, I was seated outside under less-than-ideal conditions. Last weekend, I ended up with a sunburn because the staff member was unable to properly adjust the umbrella. This weekend, I was initially placed at another outdoor table without any shade. When I requested to be moved indoors or to a shaded table, I was told there would be a wait, which I accepted. However, after finally being seated and placing our order, I noticed another table that arrived after us received their food, finished their meal, while we were still waiting. Went for dinner on a Saturday. Bread was beautiful, fresh. Servers were really nice guys (I believe Nick helped us) working together, and the pork alentejada was by far the BEST dish I’ve had at a restaurant in America, period. So fresh, tender, ENORMOUS portion, and simply well done. The whole meal cost well below what I expected with no “catch.” I’m making a point to visit every time I’m in NB

I had the Azores burger w the amazing sao paulo cheese and pineapple and a fresh ans fruity sangria. Othets in my party really enjoyed the handcrafted iced coffee drinks. Reasonable prices for great flavor, quality, atmosphere and friendly service

I always visit Tia Marias when I am in town—I love the Portuguese food here! I wish we had a cafe like this in Boston!!!

The Beast of Breakfast and More! Tia Maria’s European Cafe is the place to go for breakfast. Outstanding Service and More! I love this restaurant for the staff who treat customers like family. The food is what you will always enjoy.
