This is easily one of the best spots for Thai food in San Mateo. The portions are generous, so you definitely get your money’s worth, and every dish we tried was full of flavor and tasted fresh. You can tell they really care about the quality of their ingredients. The service was just as impressive as the food. Everyone was welcoming, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing. The whole experience felt comfortable and enjoyable from start to finish. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this place to friends.
Located in downtown San Mateo, and it’s a small restaurant. It has the best Thai food! And the items are pretty authentic and different. I stopped by because I saw they have Khao Soi! I haven’t had it since my visit in Chiang Mai, since it’s a northern Thai dish. They also have additional street food dishes like a variation Tom Yum. I love the mango dessert with sticky rice. I can’t wait to try more food. It’s pretty affordable for the price :) Food 5/5: -Khao soi: MY FAV food of all time. Curry soup with crispy noodles, chicken, red onion & other veggies. Very savory :) -Tom Yum Kway Tweo: delicious version of regular tom yum, a bit more spicy than regular tom yum soup. Portion is large! Good for 2-4 people -Mango sticky rice: love the black rice paired with ripe mangoes. They also made
As a Thai person, I have been trying to find authentic restaurant around san mateo for a long time and so glad I finally found it. I think they recently changed owners so the food got updated and now it is sooo good! The menu selection is very authentic and not something you find at usual Americanized Thai places. Love. Will come back!
Great Thai food at good price. New owners take a lot of care in creating the balance of flavors. They have a new menu on Thai street food that have a lot of options not commonly found in other Thai restaurants. The standard curries also have depth of flavor and they use real herbs!
Good Thai restaurant in San Mateo. The food was delicious, and the service was outstanding. Special thanks to the waitress who surprised me with a free dessert for my birthday. Parking can be a bit tricky, but overall, I highly recommend this place.
