Customer Reviews
Excellent food with original specialties that you cannot find anywhere around here. The portions are also very generous. Beautiful place and kind owner. Overall worth discovering!
Definitely give it a try! The food was extremely tasty. Each dish that we had was something very different (hamburger, salmon, Thai spicy pasta and rigatoni puttanesca) and each one was very delicious with a subtly unique touch. The menu items seem like items you have had many times before but then the flavor proves otherwise. Try it for yourself to understand and I bet you’ll be happy and go back. We are very happy to have this restaurant around! The owner/chef is very nice and skilled at his craft.
The food was spectacular, the flavors were unique, and this was one of the best dining experiences we have had in the area. We got the most unique/delicious burger I have ever had, two pastas and a salmon. Everything was top notch. The chef is extremely talented, the portions were huge, and we cannot wait to go back. Five stars and two very enthusiastic thumbs up. Please, go here. You will not be disappointed.
My husband and I had a really lovely dinner in this completely unique restaurant last night! I love Polish food so when I saw it on the menu I dove right in! I loved my cheese filled pierogi appetizer with onions and bacon. It was delicious, perfectly cooked, and beautifully served with sour cream and chopped dill. As an entree, the schnitzel was also excellent. The schnitzel was not the traditional cutlet with gravy. The chef had made a delicious croquet of pork, veal and dill that was light and tender, accompanied by a densely flavored mushroom sauce with lots of fresh mushrooms and herbs, accompanied with grilled potatoes and a pickled red beet salad. Very flavorful and beautiful. My husband had Hungarian potato cakes with meat goulash. Also beautiful and tasty. The portions are huge. A
The One indeed! A hidden gem nestled in the heart of Georgetown. Big portions of what feels like a home-cooked meal with restaurant quality. Warm and inviting. The chef modified the menu, even making something that wasn’t on the menu for my daughter. John (the owner) was attentive and you could feel the difference within the experience. A restaurant with heart and soul.
