Thelma Lou BBQ & Grill

My family and I just love this place! The food is absolutely delicious and made to order! The staff, especially the main waitress, (I'm sorry I didn't get your name) is so upbeat, happy and just uplifting and it just makes for such a great upbeat environment. It's also really awesome being able to watch planes take off from the airport! I would definitely recommend stopping by and getting anything off their menu!

I don’t know how Barney Fife stayed so thin, if Thelma Lou was my girl I’d weigh 750lbs. My wife and I both had the pig and pepper sandwich, I had a side of baked beans, and the boss had the mac n cheese. Delicious and plenty of it!! Services was perfect!! Attentive without being overly so. And the atmosphere was really special, today, anyway. There were 3 WWII era planes out for a flight and we watched them taxi to the end of the runway and take off. Was really cool to see. So the food’s good, the service is fantastic, and we will certainly be back.

The grilled cornbread is the best! I'm so glad I got it to try. The BBQ pulled pork sandwich was delicious. I like the skin on fries. Waitress was attentive and friendly. Got our check (I love when they do this) shortly after our food with small pitchers of tea for refills.

This is a great place to stop for dinner! The service is amazing but I clearly said no cheese on my burger and it came with cheese. Other than that though, the food and service was great.

Great little spot! Friendly service and great home cooking. Standouts from our meal were the BBQ Baked Beans, Blackened Chicken, and Fried Okra. The fried cornbread biscuit was also wonderful. I'm really glad we stopped here as we were passing through!
