Update: normally when I come in here it’s amazing. The service, the food, everything is normally great. Had the trash plate today it was delicious. Even bought one of Miranda‘s little jars of jam. In the trash plate, I asked for no peppers no onions, but substitute mushrooms. If you look at the price of Produce right now, mushrooms are cheaper. Miranda put the order in and complain to the cook because I said it should just be the same price instead of extra because I’m taking two things out and putting one thing in apparently that offended her then I let her know that I was a veteran I served 23 years. Great food and even better service! If you get a chance come eat some home cooked food. Glad we made the decision to try them out. You won’t be disappointed if you do. The waitress was friendly and had a great attitude and sense of humor

Had the breakfast special and it was awesome! Felt like I was back at my grandmother's house when I was little. A good filling breakfast. The waitress was amazing as well!! 6 tables at once.

We were traveling and happened upon The Waffle Iron. We stopped in for breakfast. A real hometown place to eat. Everyone is friendly. Decent portion sizes good prices! The walls are covered with a sign for everyone, many made me laugh out loud. Highly recommended!
